Finca La Eneida lies in the Palmor area, high in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The coffee grows at 1,300 to 2,000 metres.
The farm has been in the family for generations. The turning point came with covid. The family came back together on the farm and gave it a new direction. They brought in electricity and the internet and invested in better processing.
Today Naya and her father Royman run the farm together with her siblings. Each of them looks after their own lots.
Everything is picked by hand, and the pickers take only ripe cherries. That care at every step is what gives coffee from La Eneida its character.
