Detail

Oscar grows coffee without pesticides, in the shade of dozens of tree species. Every cherry is picked by hand and selected only when it reaches ideal ripeness.

After harvest the coffee dries whole in the fruit, in the sun, using the natural method. This slow process demands daily care and regular turning of the cherries so they dry evenly.

It is during drying that the beans gain their typical sweetness and fruity character. In the cup you will find notes of sour cherry, chocolate and cinnamon with a gentle hint of rum.

Really delicious coffee with beautiful small beans, like little pebbles. I most often prepare your Mokka using the filtered V60 method, that's where its chocolate and fruity taste really shines. For me it's an entry into the world of coffee with a specific story, and I like that. Your journey to coffee in Colombia also appealed to me. So I ordered Palmor, tried Mokka. I'll stick with both and keep exploring.

Mokka was a total wow effect for me. Such a small coffee game changer. When I first saw it at Oscar's on the La Pradera farm, I was completely captivated by those tiny little beans. But how it looked was just the beginning. The main thing came when I tasted it. Its flavor got me..And the more I learned about this amazing coffee afterwards, the more I knew I couldn't keep it just to myself. That's also why I wanted, for the first time back then, to have it sent to Czechia. Because you just don't find this coffee anywhere. And for me it's exactly one of those coffees that every coffee lover…

    Good morning, Mrs. Eva!!!
The coffee you suggested is very interesting, but only true connoisseurs will appreciate it, mainly because of its specific and intense fruity taste. Your coffee reminds me a lot of the coffee created by the Milan roastery Gardelli as part of the Mzungu Project. The most interesting thing is that this coffee, coming from Uganda, was named the best coffee in the world in 2017. Personally, I like your Colombian mokka better, because it has less intense fruity notes than the Gardelli coffee. I also did a little experiment and mixed your mokka with robusta in a 50/50…

A very different coffee, one that far surpassed other "coffees" in taste. This is an incredible taste experience. For some it might be so different that they won't believe such a high quality coffee can even taste this way. Already the aroma alone hints that Mokka will be an unusual taste experience. After grinding, the smell spreads through the whole apartment. I most often prepare it as filter coffee with a Hario set including the filter. It's just a shame that it uses more coffee per brew. If I get the chance, I would buy it again. This coffee variety, and the way it's roasted, has…

    – Excellent, sweet, balanced and without unnecessary bitterness.
    – It's fruitier and more interesting than regular coffee. If you're hesitating, it's definitely worth trying.
    – Beautiful aroma and pleasantly sweet taste.
    – For anyone who likes specialty coffee and enjoys trying new flavors.
    – The fruity notes might not suit someone who prefers classic bitter coffee.
