Hacienda Cafetera La Pradera lies in the town of Aratoca in Colombia's Santander, high on the slopes above the Chicamocha canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world. The farm was founded in 1971 by Héctor Daza and is run today by his family, led by Oscar. Everything here is grown completely without pesticides, in the shade of dozens of tree species, and the farm is certified organic and Bird Friendly.

The arabica with the smallest beans of all. A rare, unbred variety grown by only a handful of farmers in the world. Naturally processed, with notes of forest fruit, passion fruit, cacao and cinnamon.
Detail
Oscar grows coffee without pesticides, in the shade of dozens of tree species. Every cherry is picked by hand and selected only when it reaches ideal ripeness.
After harvest the coffee dries whole in the fruit, in the sun, using the natural method. This slow process demands daily care and regular turning of the cherries so they dry evenly.
It is during drying that the beans gain their typical sweetness and fruity character. In the cup you will find notes of red fruit, passion fruit, cacao, cinnamon and a gentle hint of rum.
